Squirrel scurrying around looking for reviews

By now you should have read our last post about “5 Reasons why online REVIEWS promote GOOD Business“, so you know why giving & receiving reviews is good business practice.

Is it driving you nuts scurrying around trying to get customers to leave reviews?

(we’ll stop with the squirrel puns now!)

Struggle no more, as we’ve got 4 top tips to encourage your customers to leave reviews:

1. Sounds silly, but… ASK FOR THEM!

The best way to get reviews, and bring the request for these to your customer’s attention, is to ASK.

You could add a “Submit a Review” section to your website, ask for reviews via your social media pages, or have a link to leaving reviews in your email signature.

Receiving Google reviews is also a GREAT way to boost SEO and lets potential customers see the positive experiences your customers have had.

2. Make it EASY to leave reviews

The easier you make a task, the more likely it is to get completed – so make it easy for your customers to leave you a review.

Make it easy and super accessible by sending them direct links to your review pages; such as Google, a page on your website, or an email address to send their feedback to.

3. Respond to reviews

When customers leave reviews, be sure to respond to them.
Thank them for their feedback, and let them know their business is appreciated.

If there is a negative review, take it as an opportunity to address the issue and apologise for any inconvenience.

4. Promote your reviews.

Once you have a few reviews, be sure to promote them! Promote them on your website alongside a supporting case study, use your social media pages to broadcast reviews, and you could even add your favourite review to your email signature.

Why not use positive reviews in your marketing and advertising too?!

Review CONCLUSION: Reviews are a valuable tool for businesses of ALL sizes. By encouraging your customers to leave reviews, you can use those reviews to help improve your business, building trust, credibility and sales!

Happy reviewing! 😃
