Emily Gilbert

Our north star Emily has guided SourceCodeStudio along a rollercoaster ride from being a department of Green Duck into a brand-new company. Before this journey began, Emily worked as a business analyst, working on things like police case management systems. Emily then joined the Green Duck team developing their processes in 2019. A year later, she jumped at the chance to join the SourceCodeStudio team. Little did she know it would be the stepping stone to becoming the managing director when we later split to become our own company a year later.

Emily puts her rise to the top down to the right place at the right time. However, we know her unique set of skills, personable approach to the team and drive to evolve SourceCodeStudio is why she stood out as the ideal candidate.

Outside of work, Emily and her fur baby Sulley the staffy go for long walks, living and promoting a healthy lifestyle and smashing her way through as many reality TV shows as possible. One of her most memorable achievements happened in March 2022, when she ran the Cambridge ½ marathon for the 4th time beating her personal best.

Finally, who can forget the 90s classic Gladiators? Not Emily, who was lucky enough to meet Cobra! Plus, if you’re a Towie fan, she is besties with Dan Edgar’s sister. Emily’s party trick is sticking a spoon to her nose! We’ll have to look out for it at the next office party.
